Color
Viticcio Rosé has a pale pink color, bright and luminous, often with shades reminiscent of rose petals or salmon. The liveliness of the wine gives the glass a light effervescence that amplifies its brilliance.
Aroma
On the nose, this rosé offers a fresh and inviting aromatic bouquet. Notes of strawberry, cherry and pomegranate can be distinguished, enriched by floral hints of white flowers and a light citrus nuance of pink grapefruit. Its olfactory liveliness reflects the demi-sec sweetness and anticipates its lightness on the palate.
Taste
In the mouth, Viticcio Rosé is soft and delicately sweet, thanks to the residual sugar that makes it demi-sec. Its pleasant acidity balances the sweetness, enhancing the fruity notes perceived on the nose. The light body and lively effervescence make it a thirst-quenching and drinkable wine, with a fresh and harmonious finish.
Serving temperature
Serve at a temperature between 8° and 10°C to fully appreciate its freshness and delicacy. We recommend a tulip glass to concentrate the aromas and enhance the light effervescence.
Food pairings
Viticcio Rosé is an extremely versatile wine, capable of elegantly accompanying numerous dishes. Its freshness and light demi-sec sweetness make it perfect as an aperitif, perhaps alongside raw seafood or fish tartare. It is ideal with summer salads and vegetarian dishes, such as grilled vegetables and pasta salads enriched with Mediterranean ingredients. It does not disappoint even when paired with Asian cuisine, such as sushi or seafood dishes. Its softness pairs well with fresh or medium-aged cheeses, as well as with cured meat appetizers. For moments of conviviality or a light dinner, this wine is always a good choice, capable of winning over with its pleasantness and delicacy.
Curiosity
Viticcio Rosé was born from an experiment during the harvest devised by Giovanni Chiarla, combining creativity and tradition. The name recalls the "ricciolini" produced by the vines to cling to the supports of the rows, a symbol of the strength and vitality of the plant. This lively wine, less fizzy than Morosà and with a higher sugar residue, represents a fresh and refined option for those looking for lightness and sweetness in a glass.
