The production of wines

The production process of our Piedmontese wines

The assembly line of the Chiarla Giovanni winery

Harvest

The grapes are harvested in lined plastic crates to preserve the grapes. All the grapes are harvested together, when they have reached the correct degree of ripeness. The selection process follows, in order to discard any non-conformities. Finally, the grapes are destemmed, to eliminate all the stalks and proceed with the pressing of the grapes.

Fermentation

Fermentation is where the magic begins. We use state-of-the-art stainless steel tanks to tightly control the temperature, because wine is like an artist: it needs the right conditions to express its full potential. Each variety is treated with care and attention, allowing the yeasts to transform sugars into alcohol and create the complex aromas that characterize our wines.

Aging

Some of our wines need a little time to reflect. For them, we have oak barrels, where they can develop complexity and structure. Imagine a spiritual retreat, where the wine absorbs the flavors of the wood and is enriched with notes of vanilla, spice and a touch of toastiness. The result? A wine that tells a story with every sip.

Bottling

Our bottling line is like a symphony orchestra: every step is perfectly synchronized to ensure that every bottle is flawless. We use advanced technologies to fill, cork and label our wines, keeping their quality intact until the moment you pop the cork.

The distribution

Our goal is to manage distribution to retailers in a precise and careful way. The main commitment is to maintain the highest level of excellence possible, focusing on the quality of our wines.
